Well, it wasn’t all bad: 20 positives from a lockdown 2020

It’s a year we’ll never forget, for many of the wrong reasons. At the start of the year, we had no idea we were about to head into a global pandemic, national lockdowns, being told to stay at home. Our whole lives got flipped on their heads, from the way we work, socialise and the information we consume. We certainly don’t need another list of what went wrong this year, so how about what went right – whether it was planned or otherwise!

I thought I would end the year on a post listing 20 good things that happened to me in 2020 (in no particular order). It’s not all running related (although of course some of it is…!), but a wider look at the positives from the year. This is a personal list, but there were of course lots of positive things that happened in the wider world and I’ve seen a few posts on other blogs exploring those which is fab.

I hope this post makes you smile and encourages you to think about the happy times, laughter and growth moments from 2020. I should also add that my original list was way longer, I had to cut it down to get to these 20 things!

That said, cheers to 2021 and brighter times. Hang on in there.

Happy new year 🙂

With love,

Ele x
